As Chief Architect, you will own the end-to-end architectural vision, technical governance, and execution across the business. You’ll shape scalable, secure, and future-ready platform infrastructure. This is a highly hands-on role—you’ll work with product leads and engineering teams to align architecture with strategic goals and drive enterprise-wide technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the architectural vision and roadmap, ensuring a scalable, maintainable, and high-performance technical foundation for development teams.
- Lead the evolution of platform architecture to enable modular deployments, robust APIs, and tools that empower engineering teams to deliver faster.
- Set and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and design patterns for consistency and quality across the codebase.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, product owners, and technical leads to translate business needs into clear technical designs.
- Oversee integration architecture, ensuring smooth interoperability between internal services, third-party APIs, and external partners.
- Identify technical debt and guide modernization efforts, including stabilization, refactoring, and re-platforming.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and observability across development squads.
- Support scaling the platform for regulated and unregulated markets, addressing compliance, latency, and performance needs.
- Mentor and coach senior engineers and technical leads, growing architectural thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure designs are security-first, compliant, and resilient to failure.
- Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to improve developer productivity, platform scalability, and time-to-market.
- Partner with data engineering teams to support modern data pipelines, real-time analytics, and historical reporting.
- Establish frameworks for disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity to build fault-tolerant systems.
- Foster a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within development teams.
Qualifications
