OverviewClinical Lead role within NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies. The service delivers NICE evidenced talking therapies across steps 2, 3 and 4 via telephone, groups, face to face and digital options. The Clinical Lead provides strategic clinical leadership, working with the Service Manager and Senior Clinicians to plan, develop and deliver a high quality, accessible NHS Talking Therapies service.ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and support the Deputy Clinical Lead, Step Leads and Senior Clinicians with clinical decisions. Be the point of contact for practitioners, guiding best practice and continuous improvement.Develop positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies remains a respected partner within the mental health landscape.Represent the service at local, regional and national levels by engaging with the ICB and partner agencies.Deliver gold standard care in an NHS Talking Therapies setting and support service development, planning and delivery of a high quality, responsive service.QualificationsEssential: Qualified as a High Intensity Therapist for a minimum of 1 year, or Qualified as a CBT Therapist for a minimum of 1 year, and be accreditable with BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.ExperienceDemonstrable knowledge of stepped care and NHS Talking Therapies gained through experience in an NHS Talking Therapies service.Experience working with a variety of client groups with co-morbid depression and anxiety disorders.Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with emotive and distressing problems.Experience providing NICE and NHS Talking Therapies compliant clinical supervision.Experience writing psychological assessments and discharge reports.About UsMental Health Matters (MHM) is a national charity with over 40 years of experience delivering high-quality mental health and social care services.
