Clinical Negligence - Solicitor - Newcastle - Hybrid - up to £65,000

About the Job

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious Top 100 law firm with a national presence, based in Newcastle. As the Medical Negligence department expands, the firm seeks an experienced Solicitor / Lawyer to join their successful team.

In this role, you’ll manage a challenging caseload, handling cases from initial client instruction through to completion of fast and multi-track cases. You will manage the entire process, including pre-action investigation and litigation, working closely with clients to secure fair and just outcomes.

Your experience will involve managing a complex caseload of Clinical Negligence claims and being familiar with all aspects of litigation.

The Candidate

  • Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (NQ - 8 years PQE)
  • Experience of managing own caseload of Clinical Negligence claims
  • Litigation experience is desirable and knowledge of the Damages Claims Portal (DCP)
  • Prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Excellent client care skills
