Commercial Manager – Strategic Procurement Development Opportunity
Working for an Industry-Leading Engineering organisation with nearly £4 billion in revenue. Based in London with a hybrid working model. Salary ranges from £50,000 - £56,000 + brilliant package including bonus and excellent progression opportunities.

This renowned Engineering organisation is undergoing an exciting transformation of its procurement function, embedding best practice processes ahead of delivering £multi-billion procurement projects. As part of this growth, they’re seeking a Commercial Manager with strong commercial and contract management expertise to support strategic procurement delivery.
You’ll be joining a highly strategic function, working alongside best-in-class procurement professionals, gaining invaluable exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and procurement project delivery. With the size, structure, and scope of this organisation, you’ll benefit from continuous development and long-term progression opportunities.
- Lead the end-to-end contract management process including pre- and post-contract management activities in relation to drafting, negotiation and execution of robust contractual documentation across differing technical services, ensuring alignment with internal governance and legal frameworks
- Support the delivery of £billion procurement projects where you’ll have the opportunity to acquire differing strategic procurement expertise, such as sourcing, supplier negotiations, framework agreements and embedding best practice contract assurance principles
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive value through effective supplier relationship management, contract compliance, and the implementation of innovative commercial strategies that support regulatory compliance and operational excellence
- Strong experience in contract management, ideally across indirect categories with a technical aspect such as IT, Engineering Services or Hard FM
- Proven ability to draft and manage contracts independently, with a solid understanding of commercial risk and governance
- A desire to transition into a strategic procurement role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a clear appetite for development and progression
