We are a small practice based in Edinburgh, offering quality legal services to a diverse client base. We have a strong reputation in property and private client work and due to our unprecedented growth we are expanding our commercial property team to meet increasing demand. The Role

As a Commercial Property Solicitor you will take on a varied caseload managing transactions from start to finish. Working closely with the commercial partner you will have the opportunity to build client relationships and play a key role in the development of our commercial property services.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leases, and lease renewals.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Conduct title due diligence, property searches, and manage risk effectively.
• Liaise with clients, surveyors, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient completions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support the growth of the department through business development and client care.
• Working with the commercial partner to conduct an overhaul of our commercial styles, processes and practice with a view to streamlining and ensuring an efficient delivery and completion of transactions.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified solicitor in Scotland with a minimum of 2 years PQE in commercial property (more experienced candidates also welcome).
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to manage your own caseload independently.
• Excellent client-facing skills and a proactive, commercial approach.
• A team player who is adaptable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a growing practice.
• A genuine interest in helping shape the future of the firm.
