The role and what you take care of:

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to become part of Magna’s team of Building Safety professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and dedication as a member of a multidisciplinary group, collaborating with wider colleagues and customers. Your main responsibilities involve upholding the safety of our homes and ensuring a positive customer experience aligned with our “Always Safe” values and our vision of creating great homes together.

  • Manage the fire alarm and related fire equipment programs, demonstrating excellent attention to detail. This role includes conducting internal audits against both in-house data and information provided by external contractors.
  • Responding to associated risk‑related actions promptly and within appropriate timeframes.
  • Review and interpret asbestos reports to provide contractors with the necessary information for safe work practices.
  • Provide support in preparing minutes for meetings with your contractor, as well as facilitating ongoing relationship management throughout the duration of the contract. A full Role Profile is attached to this advert.

What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP functions, conditional formatting, and data auditing, as well as proven expertise in data handling and management.
  • Maintain a highly organised and logical approach to work, ensuring accuracy and effective diary management to meet all deadlines.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle for work‑related travel. Expenses will be reimbursed.
