Job Description

InterQuest is currently supporting a leading challenger bank in identifying a Credit Risk Assurance Manager to join the bank on a permanent basis.

This opportunity could be based in London, Midlands, or the South East, and would require 3 days in the office weekly.

The role would be responsible for managing a small team and providing oversight across credit risk assurance in line with the bank's frameworks. This opportunity offers excellent development prospects across the bank and is a highly visible role within the group, involving interaction with stakeholders.

Responsibilities would include:

1. Providing credit risk support across policies and procedures, along with offering opinions and commentary on Bridging, Commercial, Asset Finance, Development Finance, and Residential lending.
2. Leading the management of a team across all areas, including development and one-to-ones.
3. Supporting the annual risk assurance plan by allocating resources and capabilities to ensure the plan's achievement. This includes planning, sampling, testing, and reporting findings in line with documented methodologies.

To be considered, you would need:

• Demonstrable management experience
• Experience in financial lending, such as Commercial, Development, and Asset Finance lending and structuring
• Good knowledge of regulations (PRA/FCA)
