Data Analyst – Wealth/Asset Management

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights to drive business growth? We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Chief Commercial Office, dedicated to supporting organic growth and commercial strategies for our wealth and asset management business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely, high-quality Management Information (MI) reports tracking performance indicators, supporting decision-making, and providing actionable intelligence for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Data Scientist, Data Engineer, and other teams to conduct rigorous data analyses, addressing both regular and ad-hoc business questions accurately.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance reporting, improving efficiency and consistency across outputs.
  • Independently scope, develop, and present insight-driven analyses to support commercial strategy and client portfolio decisions.
  • Ensure data and reporting practices comply with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards relevant to financial services.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders across the business, promoting data literacy and data-driven decision-making throughout the organisation.
  • Invest in continuous professional development, staying updated on industry, market, and regulatory trends.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (engineering, economics, maths, physics, or similar).
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Excel; hands-on experience with PowerBI or similar visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik); willingness to further develop PowerBI skills.
  • Hands-on experience in working with raw, unprocessed or complex datasets, ideally in a wealth/asset/investment management environment.
  • Familiarity with Python for data transformation/analysis is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong regulatory awareness, with a commitment to compliance and ethical data handling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
