Overview

This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

Responsibilities

• Works with internal and external customers to understand business needs and directs the development and implementation of technologies and processes that make it easier for customers and suppliers to do business with us and increase profitability.
• Manages the development and implementation of IT initiatives to support business strategy and collaborates with division directors and key stakeholders for the coordination and alignment of objectives across multiple functional areas.
• Leads the delivery and lifecycle of services for business strategy development.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Measures service performance and implements improvements.
• Owns designated processes and is accountable for ensuring that established processes are followed.
• Seeks opportunities to contribute to positive outcomes for clients, stakeholders, and organizational members.
• Generates appropriate communication, process, and educational plans to mitigate disruption during change and supports an environment of open and upward communication to ensure positive employee morale, effective conflict resolution, and forward flow of ideas for the benefit of the Company and its employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Significant experience in IT and business/industry work with knowledge of one process or service.
• Experience in managing teams and building relationships with people at various levels.
• Demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more IT projects on time and within budget.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability

• Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute business strategies to exceed operational expectations and enhance the customer experience.
• Understanding of business strategy and ability to translate strategy into system and technology solutions. Hands-on experience in large-scale environments to support growth and productivity.
• Ability to lead change, take calculated risks, and pursue continuous improvement. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with customers, team members, and management; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills to discuss strategies and technical information effectively.
• Ability to establish solid relationships with vendors and to negotiate and manage outside vendors against deliverables.
• Solid project management skills, including deploying resources and managing multiple projects of diverse scope in a cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of ITIL and service delivery standards.
