Data Insight Analyst role at Dojo. We’re reinventing payments. Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK, with payments infrastructure purpose-built for in-person commerce.

We’re looking for a client-centric and commercially-minded Data Insight Analyst to join our Data Products team to turn data into meaningful insights and new solutions for our customers. You’ll work closely with data and product colleagues on analysis, dashboards, data development and storytelling with actionable insights.

What You’ll Do

  • Use data to track performance and answer key business questions for our customers.
  • Run deep-dive analyses to explore trends, customer behaviour, and performance drivers.
  • Spend time with customers to discover new opportunities to deliver impactful solutions via intuitive analysis and dashboard improvements.
  • Take a proactive approach to supporting current and prospective users with insight that demonstrates the value of our data solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Data Analyst colleagues on priority workstreams for developing our portfolio of Data Product opportunities, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Support sales pitches with actionable insights and storytelling.
  • Help drive a culture of data-informed decision making within Dojo and for our customers.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong background of data analytics with experience programming in SQL.
  • Demonstrable experience developing analysis in client-facing and commercial environments; ability to shape requirements, work productively, communicate with stakeholders and organise resources.
  • Ability to understand and manipulate large datasets, combining data from multiple sources to obtain the required results.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Keen eye for detail and high standards in work.
  • Self-starter and independent worker, able to prioritise effectively and refine problem statements into actionable analysis.

Nice to Have

  • Tech stack: BigQuery, Looker, dbt, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
  • Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience in commercial, strategy, or consumer/customer-focused analytics roles.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in exploring data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
