We are looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to join our Data Platforms team to provide operational support to the data community, investigate and resolve operational issues, and deliver Databricks best practices. This role is based at our Paddington office on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week in the office).

Responsibilities
- Work with TCS colleagues and delivery teams to ensure that all data incidents are managed successfully and resolved within agreed timescales.
- Collaborate with the Service and Operations Manager to identify and develop improvements and automations that enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure timely and accurate incident and maintenance communications are available to colleagues.
- Support the delivery of audits and usage reporting.
- Work with the delivery and platform teams to create a forward-looking capacity plan for the data platform.
- Partner with Data DevOps, TCS, and delivery teams to identify and implement improvements to the technical operational support provided.
- Apply a data-driven, collaborative approach within a complex global organisation.
- Demonstrate experience in a Databricks environment with a focus on best-practice user query tuning.
- Show technical training experience, particularly in SQL.
- Experience working in highly matrixed organisations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Use data to identify trends, generate insights, and solve problems.
- Resolve issues and drive improvement initiatives, iterating and evolving processes and ways of working.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and drive success beyond organisational boundaries.
