Digital Transformation Manager

Hours: Part Time, 22.5 hours per week
Vacancy Type: Temporary - This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with scope to be extended.

The Role
The organisation seeks a Digital Transformation Manager to guide the implementation of their new digital CRM/CMS technology and integrate it across all areas of the business. The successful candidate will possess strategic leadership skills and be hands-on in maximizing the potential of these systems for the benefit of the organisation, its members, and wider audiences. They will work within a small, dedicated team and report to the CEO, who is leading the organisation into its next stage of sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management And Execution
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and assessment of the digital transformation project, from current stage through to iteration, maximizing its potential throughout.
- Review and, if necessary, redefine the project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Fully understand system capabilities to plan for future iterations.
- Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and report regularly to the CEO.
Change Management
- Ensure successful adoption of new digital technologies, processes, and systems across the organisation, providing an efficient customer experience for members.
- Address concerns, mitigate resistance, and inspire the team to embrace new ways of working with their systems.
- Foster a culture of digital literacy and continuous learning through training programs and workshops with consultants.
Stakeholder Engagement And Communication
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including the team, Board, and external partners.
- Oversee the customer experience, identifying touchpoints where systems can engage members, capture data, and inform decisions.
- Communicate technical concepts and project outcomes clearly to diverse audiences.
- Secure stakeholder buy-in and collaboration for successful implementation.
Process Optimisation And Innovation
- Create efficiencies in business processes through technology and automation.
- Explore and recommend new tools, platforms, and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize data to inform decisions, optimize initiatives, and promote continuous improvement.
Risk Management And Compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks related to digital initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security regulations, and industry standards.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in digital transformation, IT management, or consulting, with a successful track record of leading complex projects.
- Deep understanding of digital technologies such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning, IoT, data analytics, reporting, and automation.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
