Dispute Resolution Solicitor

Location: Peterborough (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)

PQE: NQ – 5

Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join the firm’s expanding team. You will work closely with the Head of Department and other senior lawyers, gaining exposure to a wide range of contentious matters across multiple practice areas.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a mixed caseload of disputes from instruction through to resolution.
• Advising and representing clients across a broad spectrum of disputes, including:
• Commercial and contractual disputes
• Debt recovery and enforcement
• Property litigation (including landlord and tenant matters)
• Employment disputes (for employers and employees)
• Contentious probate and trust disputes
• Construction disputes, including adjudication and arbitration
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence, and preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with business development initiatives and contributing to the department’s continued growth.

Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with NQ – 5 PQE.
• Previous experience in litigation (training seats will be considered).
• Strong communication and drafting skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice.
