Overview

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority based in Wales who are seeking to hire an Education/SEN lawyer on a rolling contract for 6 months to start ASAP. The position would require someone to attend irregular court hearings, aside from that the post can be worked on a fully remote basis.

Responsibilities

  • Attend irregular court hearings as required.
  • Manage a caseload in a role that supports remote working where applicable.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years PQE.
  • Previous experience with SEN appeals, exclusions, tribunals.
  • Ability to hold a diverse caseload including s4441s and JRs.
  • Experience conducting non-contested hearings.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a small team.
  • Prior local authority experience is preferable, though not essential.
