National Employee Relations Consultant

Salary: £47,000 (pro rata'd) plus benefits

Hours: Part-time (minimum 20 hours across 4 or 5 days)

Location: Home-based, with occasional travel to client sites

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER advice and support to SME clients across multiple sectors
• Supervise and support less experienced team members, ensuring high-quality output
• Manage a diverse caseload, including sickness, discipline, grievances, redundancies, restructures, TUPE transfers, and more
• Deliver consultancy projects and contribute to sales and marketing strategies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Build and nurture long-lasting professional relationships with clients

Candidate - Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive experience in HR management, ideally across various sectors
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent
• Proven track record in managing and developing team members
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanour
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small, supportive team
• Full driving licence and own vehicle for occasional travel
