Inspire Young Minds as an English Tutor in Nottinghamshire
Do you have a passion for English and a desire to help young people succeed? Whether you're experienced in education or looking to apply your subject knowledge in a new way, Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated English Tutors across Nottinghamshire to support students in reaching their full potential.
We're looking for tutors to provide 1:1 or small group tuition for students in Key Stages 2 to 4. Your role will involve delivering focused, personalised support that helps learners develop their reading, writing, and comprehension skills - and gain the confidence they need to thrive.
You'll be supporting students with:
English grammar, vocabulary, and writing structure
Reading comprehension and analysis
Exam preparation and revision techniques
Building confidence and motivation in a safe, supportive space
We're interested in individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about education. You might be a qualified teacher, a recent graduate, or someone with relevant experience working with young people.
Requirements:
Experience supporting students in an educational setting (classroom or tuition)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach to teaching
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Flexible working hours to fit around your existing commitments
