Group Architecture (GA) is part of the Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) division. GA accelerates the delivery of a bank-wide simplified target architecture that enhances agility, increases technology speed-to-market, and reduces costs. GA coordinates the development of target architectures and roadmaps, implements governance frameworks, deploys strategic tools, ensures design discipline, and establishes policies and standards. The Architecture Strategy team within GA coordinates the Bank's target state architecture definition and execution, aligned with TDI strategies and standards, optimized to reduce duplication, increase capability, and balance cost.

In the role of an Enterprise Architect specialist, you will work as part of a small team on architecture strategy focused on driving Architecture strategy outcomes such as cross-division target-states, assessing change programmes’ compliance to target-states and ensuring our target-architecture is optimised.

About the Role Context This position sits within Deutsche Bank’s Group Architecture and contributes to defining and executing architecture strategy across divisions to optimize target-state architectures and governance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the architecture strategy pillar lead in defining the architecture tooling strategy and blueprint
  • Work on specific architecture initiatives and deliverables such as defining cross-divisional target-states
  • Contribute to defining the strategic digital architecture framework and building of a digital architecture and management information system (A&MI)
  • Show how to leverage architecture data to improve decision making
  • Produce high quality architecture reporting that becomes a standard/guide across Group and Domain Architecture of the Bank
  • Encourage better ways of working, embedding architecture and design into our culture, and refine how we do architecture in the firm aligned to optimised ways of working

Your Skills And Experience

  • Experience in Financial Services with experience in an architecture role
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to document current states, develop target and transition architectures and resulting business & technology roadmaps
  • Experience in architecture governance including defining and assessing compliance to architecture principles
  • Ability to summarise complex architecture/design challenges for senior management
  • Strong knowledge of ArchiMate modelling language
