Position Title: Enterprise Architect – Group Architecture
Location: London

Group Architecture (GA) is part of the Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) division. GA accelerates the delivery of a bank-wide simplified target architecture to enhance agility, speed-to-market and cost efficiency. Activities include coordinating target architectures and roadmaps, implementing governance frameworks, deploying strategic tools, ensuring design discipline, and establishing policies and standards. The Architecture Strategy team coordinates target state architecture definition and execution, aligned with TDI strategies and standards to reduce duplication, increase capability, and balance cost. In this role, you will work as part of a small team on architecture strategy focused on driving outcomes such as cross-division target-states, assessing programme compliance to target-states and ensuring the target-architecture is optimised.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the architecture strategy pillar lead in defining the architecture tooling strategy and blueprint
  • Work on architecture initiatives and deliverables such as cross-divisional target-states
  • Contribute to defining the strategic digital architecture framework and building a digital architecture and management information system (A&MI)
  • Leverage architecture data to improve decision making
  • Produce high-quality architecture reporting that serves as a standard across Group and Domain Architecture
  • Encourage better ways of working and embed architecture and design into our culture, refining how we do architecture across the firm

Your Skills And Experience

  • Experience in Financial Services in an architecture role
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to document current states, develop target and transition architectures, and roadmaps
  • Experience with architecture governance, including defining and assessing compliance to architecture principles
  • Ability to summarise complex architecture/design challenges for senior management
  • Strong knowledge of ArchiMate modelling language
