Full-time - 37 hours per week. Permanent contract. £26,000 per annum. Hybrid working available.

Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival is looking for a Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial administration within our Finance team. This hands-on role covers a wide range of transactional finance, including banking, petty cash, accounts receivable, staff expenses and reconciliations. Youll be working closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure our records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day transactional finance tasks (banking, petty cash, accounts receivable, staff expenses, reconciliations).
• Ensure records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with financial controls.
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to resolve queries and support processes.

Qualifications / Ideal Candidate

• Detail-driven with strong numeric skills; comfortable with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle and present data clearly; good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive team player eager to develop a career in finance.
