Financial Controller – Scania Financial Services

Salary: From £70,000 + excellent benefits. Location: Milton Keynes / Hybrid. Working hours: Monday – Friday.

As Financial Controller, you will manage the Finance and Accounting operations team, ensuring resources are allocated, reporting deadlines are met, and month‑end reporting is accurate. You will also support internal and external audits as the Accounts representative and report to the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead & coach the department’s professional development.
  • Oversee financial control, producing business insights and coordinating month‑end, budgets, projections, and forecasting.
  • Own accounting & reporting, designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes.
  • Promote continuous improvement, challenge performance, aid audits, and initiate proposals.
  • Communicate & influence stakeholders, customers and broader business with sound insights.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant.
