The Financial Controller will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with the business on all finance related matters.

Overview

A superb Financial Controller position has arisen in a global leading Architecture firm based in South West London. Michael Page Finance are partnering with the firm to recruit their Financial Controller. The firm has grown turnover from £35 million to £136 million in the last 12 months and operates across a range of services including Audio Visual, Wayfinding, Brand Activation, Food & Beverage, Events and Design and Build.

The business recently moved to brand new offices and is looking to appoint a capable and experienced Financial Controller to join the Finance team.

Base pay range: £90,000-£100,000, plus bonus, package and hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor finance team
• Review and assist preparation of monthly management reporting, presenting back to the business
• Oversee preparation of statutory reporting and the external audit
• Partner department heads with preparing budgets and forecasts/reforecasts
• Cash flow forecasting and cross-regional cash management
• Oversee preparation and presentation of project profitability reporting
• Collaborate with business leaders on commercial/financial decisions on projects
• Deliver improvements to processes and systems to improve efficiency
• Ensure timely completion of all relevant tax filings and reporting across the region
• Work closely with external banks and the internal legal department
• Provide strategic financial advice and insights to the leadership team to support decision making and long-term planning
• Ad-hoc as required

Profile

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Strong technical finance and controllership experience with a solid understanding of IFRS
• Experience with US GAAP is a bonus
• Multi-currency and cross-regional tax exposure
• Architecture, Engineering or Construction experience is advantageous

Job Offer

The Financial Controller position comes with a competitive base salary of £90,000-£100,000, plus bonus, package and hybrid working.
