FP&A Financial Analyst — Manchester (Hybrid - minimum 1 day/week in office). Permanent | £45,000-£55,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

A leading fintech organisation based in Manchester City Centre is seeking a talented Financial Planning & Analysis professional to support strategic decision‑making and drive performance across the business. This role offers hybrid working, collaboration with senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to contribute to high‑level financial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and explain variances.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Deliver insightful reports and presentations to senior leadership and board members.
  • Support strategic initiatives with scenario modelling and financial impact analysis.
  • Monitor KPIs and recommend actions to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy through rigorous validation and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or relevant degree (Finance, Economics, etc.).
  • Proven experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles.
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (Anaplan is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or within a team.
