This is a commercially focused FP&A leadership role – you’ll be at the forefront of added value analysis, reporting, and business partnering.
You’ll join a thriving, large, and profitable manufacturing group experiencing exciting change and growth.
Your position will lead a small team and play a vital role in delivering excellence in modern FP&A within a complex and ambitious business environment.
There is significant scope for development and career progression. The division is part of a PLC with a turnover of over £2bn, offering excellent prospects for professional growth.
Your strengths should include data analysis and communication skills to drive business excellence.
Your analytical skills and commercial acumen will be highly valued.
You will analyze trends, cost drivers, variances, spend, and margin insights, providing critical business intelligence.
You’ll collaborate closely with procurement to influence decision-making, analyzing price forecasts, standard costs, promotional strategies, and evaluations.
You will also contribute to investment appraisal projects by providing MI on capital expenditure and ROI forecasts and actuals.
This role suits someone who thrives on change and wants to make a tangible impact by bringing real-world data to life and influencing strategic decisions.
It would be helpful if:
- You have extensive FP&A experience, including leading and coaching a small team.
- You are a natural collaborator with excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with operations, commercial teams, sales, marketing, and procurement.
- You are modern-thinking with a measured approach to problem-solving.
- You enjoy balancing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You hold ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
