A new opportunity for a graduate geologist has opened in Croydon. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of ground investigation projects, including mining. You will be taking on a variety of responsibilities as the Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant working alongside the ground engineering team. You will be exposed to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental. You will also have the chance to work on your Geotechnical Design skills!

Responsibilities

• Work on ground investigation projects, including mining, alongside the ground engineering team.
• Exposure to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental activities.
• Develop Geotechnical Design skills within the role.
• Carry out on-site tasks such as taking soil and groundwater samples.
• Conduct desk studies and produce reports in the office.

Work Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid working structure with time spent on site and in the office. Site work includes soil and groundwater sampling; office time includes desk studies and report writing.

Qualifications

• Essential Criteria (Keep language as in original): Hold a geology or related degree; Live within a commutable distance from the Croydon office; Hold a full UK driving licence
