Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant | £27,000 | Croydon

A new opportunity for a graduate geologist has opened in Croydon. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of ground investigation projects, including mining. You will be taking on responsibilities as the Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant working alongside the ground engineering team. You will be exposed to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental work, and you will also have the chance to develop Geotechnical Design skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the ground engineering team on ground investigation projects, including soil and groundwater sampling.
• Engage in desk studies and report writing in the office.
• Be exposed to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental activities.
• Develop Geotechnical Design skills as part of the role.

This role will offer a hybrid working structure, with site and office work. Site work includes taking soil and groundwater samples, followed by desk studies and reports in the office. The role also includes specialist training and support through to chartership, with a clear progression path into senior/project manager positions.

Qualifications

• Hold a geology or related degree
• Live within a commutable distance from the Croydon office
• Hold a full UK driving licence
