Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant | £27,000 | Croydon

A new opportunity for a graduate geologist has opened in Croydon. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of ground investigation projects, including mining.

You will be taking on a variety of responsibilities as the Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant working alongside the ground engineering team. You will be exposed to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental. You will also have the chance to work on your Geotechnical Design skills! Responsibilities

  • Work on a wide variety of ground investigation projects, including mining
  • Collaborate with the ground engineering team on Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental work
  • Develop Geotechnical Design skills through project exposure
  • Carry out on-site sampling (soil and groundwater) and desk studies
  • Prepare reports in the office based on field data
  • Progress toward chartership with specialist training and support
  • Seek clear progression path into senior/project manager roles

This role will offer a hybrid working structure as you will be working on site and in the office. The site work will include taking soil and groundwater samples, and then you will be carrying out desk studies and reports in the office.

This role will provide you with specialist training and support you through to chartership, as well as offer a clear progression path into senior/project manager positions.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a geology or related degree
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Croydon office
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
