Role and responsibilities

The Sales and Management Graduate Role starts as an Indoor Sales Support Consultant. You will generate sales opportunities for our field sales colleagues via inbound and outbound calls. The graduate scheme includes structured development across several stages:

  • Weeks 1-6: Initial Training — Attending World Class Sales Academy, shadowing operational and sales staff, servicing customers in a specific geographical area and supporting in servicing washroom products and hazardous/toxic waste removal
  • Weeks 6-52: Exposure to multiple sales-based roles to gain a broad understanding of customer needs and products; opportunity to complete the Intro to Sales Development Programme
  • 12+ months: Decide specialisation area, participate in local projects, and complete the Leadership Development Programme
  • Future progression: Potential roles include Field Account Manager, Service Team Leader, Indoor Sales/Customer Relations Team Leader, Regional Account Manager
  • 24+ Months: Progress to senior positions such as Sales Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Branch Manager or other Area Central Support roles

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales opportunities for field sales colleagues via inbound and outbound calls
  • Support sales teams and service customers within defined areas

Requirements

  • A minimum 2.2 degree in BSc/BA (business-related disciplines preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence or working towards it
  • Target-driven, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working in the field and dealing with customers face-to-face
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Willingness to work hard and have fun
