The Altro Group are looking for a Head of FP&A to join the Finance team. The Group FP&A team are financial business partners to the senior managers within the Altro Floors & Walls and Autoglym divisions and are responsible for preparing tailored financial reporting and analysis including monthly management accounts, analysis of business performance, annual budgets and 5-year plans.

This role leads the FP&A team of 6 Management accountants. This is a full time (37.5 hours a week), permanent, hybrid role (minimum of 3 days a week in our Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire HQ)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the FP&A team of 6 Management accountants and act as financial business partner to senior managers within the Altro Floors & Walls and Autoglym divisions.
  • Prepare tailored financial reporting and analysis including monthly management accounts, analysis of business performance, annual budgets and 5-year plans.
  • Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong background in FP&A with experience in a complex, global commercial environment.
  • Qualified or equivalent: CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimising financial planning and reporting systems, preparing detailed management accounts, and conducting tailored business performance analysis across areas such as sales, margins, manufacturing, inventory, and working capital.
  • Experience with system implementation (e.g., JDE or similar packages) and complex group financial reporting.
  • Ability to develop financial models, interpret data, and provide clear, concise insights for decision-making. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
