LooseHeadz is rugby’s mental health charity on a mission to save lives by placing a mental health lead at every rugby club around the world.

We’re a small, passionate, close-knit team with big goals and a shared belief that rugby can change lives.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, driven, and hands‑on Head of Marketing to lead and deliver our marketing strategy. This role offers the chance to shape the brand, engage our community, and make a tangible difference to mental health awareness.

You’ll be responsible for planning and executing campaigns, growing our online presence, and supporting fundraising and partnerships – all while keeping our mission and values at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the charity’s marketing plan.
• Plan, manage, and deliver campaigns from concept through to execution.
• Grow and manage our community across social media and email channels.
• Support fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
• Track, measure, and report on campaign performance using analytics and insights.
• Create and maintain a brand book; ensure brand consistency across all channels.
• Manage day‑to‑day social media and email communications.
• Coordinate with external freelancers for video, photography, and graphic design.
• Liaise with our PR agency and other partners to deliver joint projects.
• Support on event planning and delivery.
• Work with our sponsors & partners to deliver impactful campaigns.

About You

Essential:

• Proven experience in marketing.
• Strong understanding of content creation and social media management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design.
• Ability to work independently and within a small, collaborative team.
• Self‑starter with strong organisational skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in the sports sector (especially rugby).
• Passion for mental health and purpose‑led work.
