About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of Paid Media to lead the paid performance function across our e-commerce clients, driving acquisition, efficiency, and growth through best‑in‑class paid social and PPC strategies.

This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to someone who can balance strategic oversight with executional excellence, confident in managing large‑scale ad accounts while leading a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own strategy across Paid Social (Meta, TikTok) and PPC (Google Ads, Shopping, YouTube) for multiple e-commerce brands.
  • Manage and mentor a team of paid media specialists, ensuring quality control, campaign excellence, and clear growth development pathways.
  • Oversee budgets of up to £100K/month per account, ensuring efficient allocation and strong ROAS/CPA performance.
  • Develop and implement testing frameworks across creative, audience, and funnel structure to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Creative, CRM, and Strategy teams to deliver integrated, full‑funnel performance campaigns.
  • Present insights and growth strategies to clients during QBRs and strategy sessions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, new platform features, and performance tactics to keep clients at the forefront of paid media innovation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ hands‑on experience managing Paid Social (Meta, TikTok) and PPC (Google) for e-commerce brands.
  • Proven track record managing £100K+ monthly budgets and delivering consistent ROI improvements.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics (AOV, LTV, MER, ROAS, CAC).
  • Experienced in leading teams, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
  • Comfortable with creative strategy and briefing high‑performing paid assets.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Ads Manager, Google Ads, and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.).
  • Highly analytical mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in Shopify or DTC environments.
  • Background working in an agency or performance‑led environment.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, tracking, and attribution models.
