Overview

Head of Pre-Sales leads a team of Pre-Sales Consultants while personally driving Moneyhub's most strategic and complex deals. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and senior client stakeholders to secure the technical win and build customer confidence in our solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & coach a high-performing team of Pre-Sales Consultants; develop discovery, demo, and consultative selling excellence
  • Allocate resources strategically to maximise win rates
  • Standardise discovery, workshops, demos, PoCs, and security reviews; define and refine the playbook
  • Act as the voice of Pre-Sales into Product; ensure client needs shape the roadmap
  • Forecast hiring needs, track Pre-Sales metrics, and sustain operational excellence
  • Personally engage on the largest, most complex opportunities
  • Join PSCs on key calls to provide credibility, mentorship, and best-practice modelling
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior technical leaders across Technology, Infosec, Architecture, and Data at top prospects and clients

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • 8+ years in a senior Pre-Sales / Solutions Consulting role, ideally quota-carrying
  • Experience supporting complex software sales in Financial Services (Banking, Lending, Pensions)
  • Experience mentoring or leading others
  • Fluency in structured, value-based sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale)
  • Proven ability to manage technical evaluations (PoCs, security reviews)

Nice-to-Haves

  • Formal Pre-Sales team leadership experience
  • Background in data, API, or PaaS solutions
  • Familiarity with Moneyhub\'s competitive landscape
  • Existing relationships in our target accounts

Location and travel details: The role holder will work from our London office (near Bank) 2–3 days per week or spend time with clients 2–3 days per week. Remote working options available within the UK depending on role, business, and client needs.
