This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to handle high-quality work, develop advocacy skills and make a genuine impact in the housing and social housing sectors.About the Opportunity:You’ll work with a diverse range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, charitable landlords and co-operatives across England. Your role will involve managing a stimulating caseload while contributing to meaningful outcomes for communities.Key Responsibilities:Defending housing disrepair claims and mentoring junior colleaguesSecuring and opposing anti-social behaviour injunctionsHandling possession proceedings, Equality Act defences and mental capacity issuesAdvising on leasehold and shared ownership disputesProviding policy reviews, housing management guidance and legislative updatesProsecuting matters under the Environmental Protection ActAbout the Team:You’ll be based in Birmingham within a collaborative unit, working closely with colleagues in the wider Housing Litigation group spanning Manchester and Birmingham.
