About QuantSpark

At QuantSpark, we believe in a world where data and AI drive prosperity for everyone—not just the bottom line. We partner with ambitious businesses and government organisations to unlock the power of analytics and artificial intelligence, transforming high-value processes and empowering society through smarter, more impactful decisions.

We're at an exciting inflection point—moving from startup hustle to sustainable excellence while keeping everything that makes us special. We're in the middle of an intensive culture transformation programme, investing heavily in engagement, leadership development, and creating the ways of working that will define our future. We need someone brilliant to step in while one of our team takes maternity leave to help drive this transformation forward.

Your Impact as HR Business Partner

  • - Be the Strategic Voice: You'll partner directly with our leadership team (including our CEO) to shape how we grow our team without losing what makes us special. Your insights will directly influence major decisions.
  • - Get Involved in Culture Transformation: You'll join us mid-way through our culture programme focused on driving engagement, management excellence, and creating sustainable ways of working that support both our people and our clients.
  • - Build Excellence: Create robust people processes that support professional growth and operational excellence without losing our agility and innovation.
  • - Champion Employee Experience: Support initiatives like "Culture Fridays," peer recognition programmes, and integration of people development into project delivery—making sure our culture transformation sticks.
  • - Handle the People Challenges: Manage employee relations, support managers with performance conversations and difficult situations, and ensure our performance management processes drive real development outcomes.
  • - Keeping Top Talent Thriving: Our people have choices—you'll help ensure they choose to grow their careers with us by creating clear development paths, succession planning, and meaningful advancement opportunities.
  • - Developing Our People: Design learning and development programs that help everyone reach their potential—from technical up-skilling to leadership development.
  • - Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Track and analyse key people metrics (engagement, retention, performance) to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the impact of our people initiatives.
  • - Support Organisational Growth: Help design team structures and roles that support our scaling ambitions while maintaining effectiveness and collaboration.
  • - Professionalising Smartly: Create HR policies and processes that support excellence and growth while keeping the flexibility and innovation that make us effective.

What Success Looks Like

Month 1: You've stepped into our ongoing culture transformation, understand our current initiatives, and are already contributing to skills development and employee engagement efforts.

Month 6: You're driving our culture programme forward, our management capabilities have noticeably improved, and your frameworks are helping teams work more effectively together. People challenges are being resolved efficiently and constructively.

Month 12: You've helped embed sustainable culture change, our engagement scores reflect real improvement, and we have the capabilities, metrics, and ways of working to thrive as we grow.

What You'll Get in Return

Real Development Budget: £6,000 annually for training, conferences, and whatever helps you grow professionally

Flexible Benefits: 6% matched pension, comprehensive healthcare through Vitality, 25 days holiday (with flexibility to buy/sell up to 5 more)

Flexibility That Works: Work from anywhere for up to a month each year, plus cycle-to-work scheme and various discounts with major retailers, fitness and travel providers

Direct Impact: Your voice will be heard, your ideas will be implemented, and your decisions will shape how we grow

The Final Word

You'll be helping us navigate a thoughtful transition from startup to professional services excellence. Some days will require balancing competing priorities as we invest in our people while delivering exceptional client work. If you're energised by the prospect of helping a talented team reach their full potential, of building the development programs and professional processes that will define our next chapter, we should talk.
