As part of this journey, we’re looking to appoint highly skilled HR Business Partners to join our forward-thinking HR team. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead a team of HR Advisors and play a key role in delivering high-quality, people-focused solutions across the organisation.
Lead and support a team of HR Advisors, ensuring a proactive and high-quality HR advisory service.
Work closely with leadership teams to align HR strategy with service needs and organisational goals.
Translate business plans into effective people strategies, identifying key priorities and implementing practical HR solutions.
Deliver across a full range of HR initiatives, including workforce planning, restructures, recruitment, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, and engagement.
Ensure specialist HR functions are meeting service level agreements (SLAs), escalating issues and recognising strong performance where appropriate.
Drive continuous improvement and lead on complex change and transformation programmes.
We’re looking for commercially focused HR professionals with strong track records in business partnering. Ideally, you will bring a blend of public and private sector experience, with particular value placed on those who have supported service areas ideally within a local authority environment.
You’ll be:
Experienced in managing complex organisational change and transformation
Skilled at building strong, influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Confident in navigating a unionised environment
Knowledgeable in current UK employment legislation
Analytical, solutions-oriented, and proactive in delivering results
Passionate about leading and developing others to reach their full potential
