HR Manager – Glasgow/Edinburgh based, hybrid work style.

The HR Manager role will be based in the Employment, Policy and HR Services pillar at Isio Group Limited, working across the full HR lifecycle, and will report into the Head of HR Services. The team provides SME specialist advisory and administrative HR services to underpin our people strategy and vision.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Specialist HR advice: collaborate with HR colleagues and service lines to drive operational excellence; provide expert employment law advice to HRBP colleagues and senior stakeholders; ensure HR policy is implemented consistently and compliant with UK legislation; review and create HR policies and people-centric frameworks; interpret data to inform policy development; maintain accurate HRIS records; manage ER cases and complex issues; provide governance on terms and conditions of employment; support the Head of HR Services with data collation; oversee M&A processes, TUPE consultations, and wellbeing referrals as required.
• Business Relationships: build strong relationships with internal clients and HR colleagues; act as SME advisor on change management; support recruitment with compliant offer letters; support annual performance management and reward processes; coordinate with Payroll and Learning teams; apply HR and business knowledge to support the wider business.

• Qualifications Required: CIPD qualified (L7 ideally).
• Experience Required: Generalist Employee Relations with extensive ER experience and solid UK employment law knowledge; strong communication and stakeholder management; adaptable leadership style; experience in professional or financial services; ability to work at pace in ambiguity; strong risk management; leadership experience with senior stakeholders; capable of independent and team work; strong organisational skills; HRIS experience; Power BI and MS Office knowledge desirable.
