Scope of the role

Our client is looking for an experienced strategic HRBP to drive performance and to create a culture where people thrive. You will report into the VP of HR and deliver HR initiatives in line with the People Plan. You will be part of the succession plan for the current VP of HR.

This is a true generalist role, and you should have experience in all aspects of the employee life cycle including recruitment, talent, organisational development, employee engagement and ER. You will work in collaboration with senior leaders, providing support, coaching and challenge.

Candidate Profile

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong background in employee relations and a passion for driving high-impact people strategies in a complex manufacturing environment. This role is a key member of the HR team, supporting a dual-site Operations function and partnering closely with the Operations Leadership Team to deliver the people plan and enable future capability growth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of the people strategy across Operations, aligned with business objectives.
* Provide hands-on coaching and support to managers at all levels on a wide range of HR and employee relations matters.
* Manage high-volume and complex ER casework, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* Negotiate and manage settlement agreements effectively and compliantly.
* Support the Operations Leadership Team to build and develop leadership and functional capability aligned to future business needs.
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business, acting as a trusted HR advisor.
* Collaborate closely with other members of the HR team to ensure consistency, alignment, and operational excellence.
* Demonstrate flexibility and a “roll up your sleeves” approach to support day-to-day HR operations in a small team environment.

What Our Client is Looking For:
* Proven experience in a fast-paced, complex dual-site manufacturing environment, ideally with distribution or logistics exposure.
* Significant hands-on expertise in employee relations, managing high-volume, complex casework.
* Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and effective people management.
* CIPD Level 5 (or above) or equivalent experience highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly at senior levels.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
* Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving business environment.
