Overview

Propelis is a go-to-market ecosystem formed by SGS & Co and SGK, delivering a broad range of solutions including brand creative, packaging, print, branded environments, and content production. Our brands include SGX, Marks, Equator, Collide, and 5Flow. We are seeking a HR Coordinator to join the Global People & Culture team, reporting to the VP, Business Partnering.

This HR Coordinator role supports day-to-day HR operations and involves a mix of administrative and HR-specific tasks. You will connect the global P&C function with Centres of Excellence and Regional Business Partnering teams to develop practical solutions that standardise ways of working across sub regions and CoEs. This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK or Europe, ideally within commuting distance of a key European location in the UK, France, or the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Records Management and Onboarding
  • Maintaining and organising employee records (e.g., contracts, performance reviews, training records)
  • Updating databases with employee information such as personal details, salary changes, or benefits enrolment
  • Leading regular company onboarding sessions and answering questions
  • Maintaining and updating UK-relevant areas of the Intranet
  • Policy Compliance and Support
  • Assisting with the implementation and communication of HR policies
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations
  • Managing confidential information and privacy compliance
  • Employee Relations and Support
  • Addressing routine employee questions or directing them to the appropriate HR contact
  • Organising and coordinating company events, training sessions, or wellness programs
  • Taking notes during ER meetings or employee change meetings
  • Tracking probationary reviews and absences; directing escalations to the appropriate manager(s) and HR contact
  • Administrative Duties
  • Scheduling meetings and reminders for managers and HR teams
  • Preparing reports related to HR metrics (e.g., turnover, attendance)
  • Preparing and issuing HR-related letters (e.g., meeting outcomes, terms of employment, contractual changes, maternity confirmation)

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Previous HR experience at this level
  • Professional qualification in HR or working towards one (CIPD preferred)
  • Experience working in a global matrix organisation
  • Ability to provide support to international managers on a range of people issues

Location & Working Arrangement

This is a hybrid role, based in the UK or Europe, with preference for candidates living within commuting distance of key European locations in the UK, France, or the Netherlands.
