Overview

Implementation Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering successful client implementation & onboarding of a E/CTRM solution. You will be responsible for configuring our SaaS platform to meet client requirements, performing light scripting and data-related tasks, and acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Implement & Configure: Configure the E/CTRM platform according to client requirements and project scope. Carry out system setup, user management, and workflow configuration. Write and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data validation, transformation, and reporting. Provide training on how to use the system to customers as part of onboarding. Support in translating business needs into technical configurations and solution designs. Identify gaps and propose effective workarounds or enhancements.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle. Run workshops, training sessions, and walkthroughs with client teams. Collaborate with internal product, support, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Project Delivery Support: Manage and track tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues during implementation. Contribute to testing (UAT, functional, and integration testing). Support post go-live activities including hypercare and handover to support teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in implementing SaaS solutions or enterprise applications, with a strong preference for expertise in E/CTRM implementations - either as a Business Analyst or a hands-on implementation role.
  • 3+ years of experience in energy consulting.
  • Understanding of energy markets, particularly power and carbon trading.
  • Familiarity with trading processes and trade lifecycle management: trade capture, confirmation, scheduling, risk management, settlement.
  • Strong SQL skills (must have) for data queries, validation, and reporting.
  • Understanding of system integration patterns (APIs, messaging, ETL) for market data feeds, exchanges, and downstream systems.
  • Experience working directly with clients, including running workshops or training.
  • Problem-solving mindset to design workarounds when system functionality doesn’t fully meet requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong initiative, results driven and ability to work with little direction.
  • Comfortable with an unstructured and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Nice to have

  • Basic to intermediate programming language skills, ideally JavaScript, Python.
  • Understanding of complex structured power products, including PPAs.
