Overview

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with Demelza Charity to find their Individual Giving Manager.

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2 days per week from their office in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the Head of Lottery and Individual Giving, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the Individual Giving and Legacy programme.
  • You will lead on the planning and delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including print, digital, telephone and more, across a diverse portfolio of regular giving, one-off donations, appeals, payroll giving, in-memory giving and legacies.
  • Create and monitor campaign metrics, set targets and analyse performance to inform future activity and maximise opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities within our data for further stewardship and relationship building communications which drive further growth.
  • Provide data briefs and collaborate with the Database Support Executive to ensure effective use of supporter data.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Team to enhance and maximise the online presence of Individual Giving and Legacy products.
  • Monitor and respond to attrition trends, implementing strategies to maintain supporter retention.
  • Communicate plans and activity internally to ensure they are fully understood and supported throughout the organisation.
  • Test, monitor and evaluate appeals and campaigns to generate actionable insights and inform future strategic planning.
  • Build strong cross-department relationships across Demelza to support sustainable income generation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end fundraising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse performance data and identify trends to inform future activity.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using databases to accurately record information, and form insights to guide future activity.
  • Understanding of a broad range of individual giving products and fundraising techniques.
  • Experience working collaboratively with external fundraising agencies and suppliers.
