Seeking an experienced In‑House Employment Solicitor for a leading UK retailer based in South Yorkshire. This hybrid role offers comprehensive benefits, flexibility and a competitive salary up to £80,000 per annum, including bonus and car allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update employment policies, procedures and contracts.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Handle employment tribunal claims, including advocacy.
  • Provide training to internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of employment law.
  • Monitor and advise on changes to employment legislation.

Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent with 3+ years PQE.
  • Experience in handling respondent employment matters, ideally from retail clients.
  • Proficiency in managing tribunal claims and ideally conducting advocacy (not essential).
  • Skill in developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.
  • Ability to deliver training and upskilling initiatives.
