The Opportunity

Join our commercial team as a Key Account Manager, responsible for driving growth and managing strategic relationships within key industry sectors. This role offers the opportunity to develop new business, expand key accounts, and work closely with fleet and commercial contract teams to deliver seamless client solutions. Must be willing to travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client retention, satisfaction, and growth.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to provide tailored solutions, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and drive account expansion.
  • Establish account reporting, setting targets and KPIs to monitor performance and growth.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, particularly at airports outside London, in line with company sales strategies.
  • Work with the Commercial Director to develop market strategies, prospect clients, and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Asset team to align client requirements with fleet resources, optimise utilisation, and ensure service delivery.
  • Work with the Commercial Contract team to manage contract terms, address inquiries, and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Support forecasting, planning, and fleet readiness for key accounts. Analyse market and client data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Promote Health & Safety and ISO compliance in all aspects of work.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within aviation or related sectors.
  • Background in aviation, financial services, leasing, or automotive sectors preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and delivering business growth.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident, self-motivated, energetic, and reflective in approach to work and client engagement.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office; SAP experience advantageous.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and inform business strategy.

Working Hours / Days
