Job title: M365/SharePoint Architect

We are seeking an experienced M365/SharePoint Architect to help our clients reimagine their digital workplace. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership and technical experience. You will be experienced in guiding customers through major migrations from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online, guiding the customer through the transition, and ensuring the right design and governance model is established and provide trusted advice in shaping the broader M365 landscape. You will be a trusted advisor, bringing a blend of technical knowledge, business consulting expertise and ability to influence the customer at all levels. This role also offers a unique opportunity to advance your AI skills, building on Version 1’s AI native approach. By working at the forefront of Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, you will have the chance to shape and deliver transformational solutions for customers using Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the wider AI capabilities within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead guidance through major migrations from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online.
  • Establish and advise on design and governance models for M365 deployments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing stakeholders at multiple levels with technical and business insight.
  • Develop and shape enterprise AI adoption strategies using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and related AI capabilities in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Strong background in M365 architecture (especially SharePoint Online), including governance, compliance, security, and adoption.
  • Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders in demanding environments, setting expectations, presenting options, and influencing decisions.
  • Proven experience leading SharePoint migrations from on-premises to Online.
  • Direct experience with SharePoint Online configuration, migration tooling, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and its integration with SharePoint/M365.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot and its adoption patterns.
  • Exceptional ability to explain technical concepts in accessible terms to both technical teams and business leaders.
  • A passion for leveraging AI and modern digital tools to revitalise legacy systems.

Desirable

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-600, MS-700, MS-740, or equivalent Architect certifications).
  • Experience with broader M365 ecosystem components (Teams, Exchange Online, Security & Compliance).
  • Exposure to Azure services that complement M365 (e.g., Identity, Integration).
  • Change management / adoption experience.
