Base pay range

National Account Manager

£35,000 - £45,000 basic salary plus up to 20% bonus

£540 Car allowance or Company Car

Bedford - 1 day a week in the office plus occasional travel across clients

One of the World's leading consumer brands is looking for a National Account Manager to provide manage and grow both existing and new key accounts.

The role will also be responsible for managing two large key accounts and developing national key accounts to provide growth to the business.

What you will be doing:

-Managing the complete accounts process e.g. pricing audits, customer presentations, internal file management, product launches and category management / promotional initiatives and more.

-Work with the Business Manager to make sure the key KPI’s are being met within the accounts assigned.

-Working with the relevant buyers within the accounts, to present new products to the buyers/managers/marketing depts. within the account portfolio

-Maximise the account profit via effective negotiation and the implementation of a promotional sales budget, retail promotion plan, and category management initiatives.

-Continually explore and drive new business opportunities within the accounts.

-Maintenance of pricing and forecasting files

-Utilise SAP and work with the Customer Service Group (CSG) and Logistics dept to track sales orders vs. customer service levels. Work with the teams to investigate and solve delivery issues.

What we are looking for:

-Experience working within a Account Management role for a large consumer brand

-Experience working with large retailers

-A self-motivated, pro-active individual with strong selling skills. Driven to achieve targets.

-Clean UK Driving License
