Our client is a rapidly growing financial advisory firm with a national footprint of Insurance Advisors, Mortgage Advisors and Financial Advisors. As part of their next stage of growth, they are looking to recruit a National Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in their growth.

The business currently has 80 Advisors managed by 8 Area Managers, with plans to double in size within 12 - 24 months, plus continued growth thereafter. As National Sales Manager you will be the key conduit between their growing Advisor salesforce and the Directors of the business, with your focus on growth in revenue, productivity, headcount and referral partnerships.

Given the self‑employed nature of the salesforce, it is important you have prior exposure to self‑employment to empathise with the team, whether through firsthand experience as an Advisor or prior management. You will also bring a corporate structure as they expand the business, implementing robust processes and policies.

Despite national growth, the business has maintained a fantastic team bond and supportive culture, with quarterly team events, an annual conference and annual sports days. You will play a key role in leading sales management and training initiatives, encouraging regular development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a national salesforce of approved financial advisors.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for revenue, productivity, headcount and referral partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain robust processes and policies to support expansion.
  • Deliver ongoing professional development and coaching across the salesforce.
  • Collaborate closely with the Directors to deliver on business expansion goals.

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience within the financial advice profession (insurance, mortgages or wealth).
  • Experience leading sizeable salesforces; experience of both employed and self‑employed advisors.
  • Motivation to join a growth‑focused business and comfortable with national travel.

Benefits

  • Salary of £60,000 - £80,000 plus performance bonuses.
