National Sales Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing financial advisory firm with a national footprint of Insurance Advisors, Mortgage Advisors and Financial Advisors. As part of their next stage of growth, they are looking to recruit a National Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in their growth. The business currently has 80 Advisors managed by 8 Area Managers, with plans to double in size within the next 12–24 months, plus continued growth thereafter.

As National Sales Manager you will be the key conduit between their growing Advisor salesforce and the Directors of the business, focusing on growth in revenue, productivity, headcount and referral partnerships. The salesforce consists of self‑employed Advisors, so experience or empathy with self‑employment is essential. You will bring corporate structure to the expanding business, ensuring robust processes and policies are in place. The role requires leading sales management and training initiatives, encouraging and facilitating ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue, productivity, headcount and referral partnership growth.
  • Lead a national salesforce of both employed and self‑employed Advisors.
  • Implement and maintain corporate processes and policies.

    Qualifications

    • You must have leadership experience within the financial advice profession (insurance, mortgages or wealth) and have led sizeable salesforces – individuals without FS experience will be unsuccessful.
    • You should have experience of both employed and self‑employment and be able to manage Advisors from both.
    • You should be motivated by the chance to join a growth‑focused business.
    • You must be comfortable with travel, as expected within a National Sales Manager role.
