Role Purpose:
Develop and close new business opportunities within current and new target customers to achieve annual gross margin targets. Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive business across all SCC products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and qualifying new business target customers or new revenue lines within existing customers.
- Identify, develop, and campaign sales opportunities based on customer and market insights.
- Lead and coordinate sales campaigns with internal and external teams.
- Maintain and expand engagement with vendors and partners to drive sales growth.
- Perform account profiling, develop engagement plans, and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with SCC solution experts to define suitable propositions for clients.
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring high deal closure rates.
- Develop marketing plans targeting specific customers, sectors, or regions.
- Manage customer relationships at all levels and orchestrate senior engagement.
- Identify opportunities and risks, considering operational, commercial, and legal aspects.
- Gain industry knowledge to generate propositions and enhance customer engagement.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven success in technology infrastructure and services sales, especially in enterprise projects.
- Strong knowledge of technology and services aligned to business outcomes.
- Experience selling IT consulting, professional and managed services, software, and hardware.
- High business and commercial awareness with successful negotiation skills.
- Track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
- Experience developing and executing territory sales strategies.
