Job Description: Oracle ERP Test Manager. You must be SC cleared or eligible for SC clearance and must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years. Ready to lead Oracle ERP testing at scale? Join Version 1 as a Test Manager.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end test management
  • Test strategy including supporting test planning and test scripting best practices
  • Test design and execution with test reporting and defect logging processes, including coordination between upstream and downstream systems for testing
  • Managing a hybrid team of test analysts and client end users/subject matter experts
  • Working independently and remotely, with willingness to travel for client engagements as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Create test strategy and test plans
  • Coordinate defect triage meetings
  • Oversee risk management, mitigation and client communication and coordination
  • Build test strategy, test plan and schedule based on overall project timelines
  • Coach teams in test scripting best practices
  • Familiarity with automated testing solutions
  • Review test artefacts (test scripts, test logs, defect logs, test summary reports)
  • Coordinate and support SIT and UAT lead for SIT/UAT planning and execution
  • Oversee staffing of the project with Version 1 resources; collaborate with clients and third parties to ensure on-time completion
  • Adhere to Version 1 standards and policies

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee support and training of fellow colleagues
  • Keep product knowledge current
  • Monitor performance indicators/targets
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings (internal & external)
  • Deliver all project-related activities efficiently as part of a recognised project methodology
  • Meet quarterly objectives set during appraisals

Qualifications

  • Experience in test management and defect management
  • Oracle testing environment for implementations/upgrades with knowledge of multiple ERP/HCM modules and at least 1 full upgrade or implementation project testing lifecycle
  • Ability to identify and solve problems; innovative thinker capable of translating customer requirements into workable solutions
  • Flexible but methodical, with thorough organizational and analytical skills; process-oriented
  • Time management skills; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

This is hybrid-based with occasional travel to your nearest base office.
