Overview
Payroll Manager role at ClearScore. Based in London. Permanent position within the finance team to support ClearScore’s growth across the UK, South Africa, Australia, Canada and New Zealand across each business unit (ClearScore, DriveScore, One and Aro).
Salary: £60K-£65K per annum.
What you will be doing
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process across all ClearScore Group entities, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Ensure full adherence to all relevant compliance and regulations in each payroll jurisdiction.
- Act as the key point of contact for all employee payroll queries and manage payroll matters with benefit providers, payroll partners and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide detailed payroll reconciliations, post payroll journal entries onto the general ledger, and assist with financial reporting of staff costs.
- Keep abreast of payroll legislation, implement best practices, and drive efficiencies in current systems and processes.
- Manage ClearScore’s employee expense reimbursement process.
Skills and Qualifications
- CIPP qualification (or international equivalent) preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing software (HiBob/Pento; Deel is advantageous).
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation; knowledge of South Africa, Australia and Canada would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills with a desire to learn.
- Drive to improve processes, increase efficiency, and use technology to automate tasks.
