The Role
The People Coordinator is a hands-on HR generalist role, providing crucial operational and administrative support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You’ll be the go-to person for managers and employees, handling everything from onboarding, HR advice, payroll and data-driven reporting to ensure our teams are brilliantly supported.
Key responsibilities
- HR Generalist Support: Provide excellent HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, handling key people activities from probation to exit interviews, ensuring process compliance.
- Payroll Lead: Central point for payroll; input amendments, conduct checks, manage the monthly payroll process; main contact for external payroll provider and internal stakeholders.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Administer end-to-end employee lifecycle, drive efficiencies, manage absence and performance, and support flexible working requests.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support Recruitment Partner with onboarding activities, induction plans, and buddy program; assist with offer paperwork and liaise with agencies for senior and specialist vacancies as needed.
- People Metrics & Projects: Analyze employee data to create quarterly People Metrics reports, monitor absence and sickness, support performance review processes, and update policies as required.
What we’re looking for in you
- Experience & Knowledge: Previous experience as a People Assistant or HR Specialist with strong HR advisory skills; good understanding of employment law and HR processes; able to identify improvement opportunities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Payroll responsibilities require meticulous administrative and organizational skills; accurate documentation and data maintenance.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt style to different personalities and learning needs; strong administrative, organizational, and collaborative abilities.
- Resilience & Problem-Solving: Proactive and accountable; able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Team Player: Positive, can-do attitude with a passion for contributing to a collaborative environment.

Role specifics
This is a hybrid role and you’ll be required to work 3 days a week in our Hammersmith, London office.
