The Role

In this position, you’ll take ownership of designing and delivering large-scale GCP solutions that underpin the organisation’s most important systems. Acting as both a strategist and a hands-on architect, you’ll collaborate with engineering teams, data specialists, and business leaders to create cloud platforms that are secure, scalable, and built for innovation.

• Architect and implement GCP platforms to support critical business functions in insurance
• Establish and enforce architectural frameworks, governance, and cloud best practices
• Design and optimise solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable advanced data and analytics initiatives
• Continuously assess and adopt emerging GCP features to maximise value and innovation

Your Experience

We’re seeking a proven cloud leader who thrives on building scalable, secure, and future-ready platforms.

• Extensive experience designing and deploying enterprise solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on knowledge of core GCP services including Compute Engine, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions
• Strong background in Python for automation, integration, and data processing
• Expertise in cloud security principles, cost efficiency strategies, and performance optimisation
• Proven leadership in driving cloud adoption and mentoring engineering teams
